Build vs buy a Polymarket bot

This is a bot-ops checklist, not a brand war. Build when you have the ops. Buy (or waitlist) when you want a hosted path with risk limits.

Build when

• You already have API experience and monitoring
• Your edge is PM-native liquidity or a signal you can own
• You accept DIY ops burden — and your own stack passes the Trust & Diligence Desk checklist
• You will re-verify path and fees after every schedule change

Buy / waitlist when

• You want a hosted no-code builder and paper mode
• You want one product brand with risk limits
• You would rather ship a strategy than a deploy pipeline
